Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear Colleagues,
 

As the host of the VII EUROSAI Congress in Kraków, I would like to thank all the EUROSAI Colleagues for their support and cooperation in preparing and running the Congress. I want to thank all the Heads of Delegations and participants for accepting my invitation. It was a great honour and pleasure for me to meet representatives of the European SAIs and guests from other INTOSAI regions and other organisations.
 

The Congress was an opportunity to exchange professional information, opinions and experiences in previously selected Themes, and resulted in Kraków Conclusions and Recommendations, which, I hope, will help us plan and carry out work in the areas covered by the Themes.
 

Personally, as an environmentalist, I wish to mention that the Congress had one more effect. As it was organised in  the “paperless” formula, we have managed to save dozens of trees. Thank you for your kind reception of the idea.  
 

Finally, let me encourage all of you to explore the Congress website, to study materials presented and discussed in Kraków, and to visit our photo and video galleries to remember the time we spent together.
