35^th EUROSAI Governing Board Meeting was held on 23-24 June 2009 in Kyiv, Ukraine. During the opening of the meeting welcoming speech were delivered by Dr. Valentyn Symonenko, Chairman of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine and Dr. Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament. Opening remarks were conveyed by Mr Jacek Jezierski, President of the Polish NIK and Chair of the EUROSAI Governing Board, and by Mr Manuel Núñez Pérez, President of the Spanish Court of Audit and Secretary General of EUROSAI.

 

The meeting was attended by 30 delegates from 13 countries. A brief communication after 35th Session of the EUROSAI Governing Board will be published shortly.

 

The next meeting of the EUROSAI Governing Board has been planned to take place in Madrid in 2010.
