Celebration of 90th Anniversary of the National Audit Office of Lithuania, Vilnius, 29 January 2009

Mr Jacek Jezierski as the President of the NIK and the Chair of the EUROSAI Governing Board was invited by Ms Rasa Budbergyté, Auditor General of Lithuania to participate in a conference devoted to Public Audit: Helping to Manage State Property Wisely which was organised to commemorate 90th Anniversary of the National Audit Office in Lithuania.
International conference presentations were made by the Member of the European Commission Dr. Dalia Grybauskaitė, the Chairman of the Budget Control Committee of the European Parliament Mr Herbert Bösch, the President of the European Court of Auditors Mr Vitor Manuel da Silva Caldeira, the Chairman of the Seimas Audit Committee Mrs Loreta Graužinienė, the President of the Netherlands Court of Audit Mrs Saskia J. Stuiveling, the former President of Lithuanian Constitutional Court Prof. Dr. Egidijus Kūris, as well as the Auditor General Mrs Rasa Budbergytė herself.
