The 2nd meeting of the EUROSAI Strategic Plan Task Force was held in Warsaw on 9-10 June 2009. Mr Jacek Jezierski, the President of the NIK and Chair of the EUROSAI Governing Board opened the meeting. The Task Force Members, representatives of the SAIs of Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the UK deliberated on the following topics:
1. Results of the QUESTIONNAIRE which had been distributed among EUROSAI Members,
2. Draft mission and vision statement of EUROSAI,
3. Draft list of the EUROSAI strategic goals,
4. Draft template for implementation strategies and policies
5. Scope of information to be delivered at XXXV EUROSAI Governing Board meeting in Kyiv (The progress report),
6. Draft schedule for the second stage of works.
The next meeting of the EUROSAI Strategic Plan Task Force is scheduled to take place in November 2009. In November 2009 the Task Force is going to send the first draft Strategic Plan to members and observers of the EUROSAI Governing Board for their comments. In 2010 the second draft will be sent to all members of EUROSAI for their opinion. Then, another round of consultations with the Governing Board is planned. The final draft, endorsed by the Governing Board, will be submitted for adoption to the VIII EUROSAI Congress in Lisbon in 2011.
