On 16-18 September NIK President paid a visit to the Supreme Audit Institution of the Republic of Bulgaria (BNAO). The aim of the visit was familiarizing with activities of the BNAO, BNAO constitutional and legal framework, independence of SAI, nominating governing staff and BNAO authorities, auditors’ status and audit procedures including in particular papers (reports) extended within audit process. NIK President as the President of the EUROSAI Governing Board also presented main goals of the Polish Presidency in the EUROSAI Governing Board.
